Locking Sleeves
For situations where mated connectors may be under mechanical stress, optional locking sleeves are available to maintain good electrical contact for many but not all of the subsea pluggable cable connectors and bulkhead connectors, please refer to the Product matrix. There are two types of locking sleeves:
The LS series is for use with standard series cable connectors and bulkhead and must be fitted to the cable prior to installation.
For B series connectors, the LSB series is for use with B series cable connectors and bulkhead connectors, and an LSB series locking sleeve may be fitted to the cable prior to installation or retro-fitted.
