Underwater mateable electrical connectors

Groove supplies the only underwater electrical connectors that can be mated and unmated underwater.

The unique design features a vent hole in the female connector through which water is expelled.  The flared male connector acts as piston to push the water out. One of the key features of the underwater electrical connector design is the wiping action of the male pin. This creates a dry environment meaning that connectors can be mated or unmated, at almost any depth, in a de-energized condition.

The underwater electrical connectors use a proven water expulsion mating process achieving ratings of up to 20,000 psi. Electrical power must be off before connecting or separating any of these products.
